We are a volunteer group, so we rely on people giving a bit of their time. If you have been thinking about helping out, this is where to start.

What kinds of help we need
Our community composting hubs need people to help with turning and managing compost, checking and maintaining drop-off points, and keeping things tidy and working well for everyone who uses them.
We also need volunteers to help coordinate rosters, welcome new people signing up, and help with the everyday running of the collective.
You do not need experience with composting to get involved. We can show you what to do, and there is usually someone on hand who has done it before.
What a first step looks like
The best first step is to let us know you are interested. Sign-up and contact details will follow here, so please check back.
Once we hear from you, we will be in touch about which hub might suit you, and what the roster looks like.
Other ways to help
- Spreading the word to neighbours and local community groups
- Helping with small practical tasks around a hub, even occasionally
- Sharing any skills you have that might be useful, such as basic maintenance or organising
Every bit of help makes a difference to keeping our hubs running for the community.
